The origin of Kaitlynn’s goes back to 2006 when Kaitlynn Reichert, just 16 years old, began baking delectable cheesecakes and playing around with recipes in her home kitchen. The hobby grew and soon a dream of owning a restaurant where she could share her sweet treats took shape and the planning began. Having been the 5th generation to grow up on her family’s small centennial farm just outside of Brunswick, Kaitlynn decided to stay where her roots were and Kaitlynn’s Deli and Ice Cream Shop opened its doors in 2011. Since then Kaitlynn herself has put her heart into every menu item. From the Greek Salad to the caramel drizzled on top of her Turtle Pecan cheesecake, you can taste the effort she has put into using fresh and homemade ingredients.
Give yourself some time to read the menu because you will inevitably find it difficult to choose between the delicious offerings. There are the favorites of Kaitlynn’s frequent customers, including the Bruns-on-Wick, named after Kaitlynn’s hometown, and Lydia’s Chicken Sandwich, which honors one of her best friends. Of course you can always try your hand as chef and create your own sandwich. We suggest you try the pretzel bread; you won’t be disappointed. Although her menu has grown over the years, Kaitlynn is true to her roots, offering a long list of gourmet cheesecakes. If it’s your first visit to her town, also known as The Pecan Capital of Missouri, you might want to try the Pecan Pie flavor. An entire pecan pie is baked into the cheesecake so you don’t have to choose between the two.
Kaitlynn’s has built a community of regulars who add to the neighborly atmosphere. People are called by name and genuinely asked about their day. Interactions like this are built into the foundation of how Kaitlynn’s runs on a daily basis. All who enter the door are warmly welcomed and encouraged to enjoy their visit. As it is with most of the good things in life, it’s best when shared with others. In that spirit, we invite you to Kaitlynn’s and look forward to meeting you soon.

We have a family friendly atmosphere so that the youngest to the oldest can enjoy their sandwich or cone.
